Before you start

Your hearing aids must support Bluetooth LE Audio to work with the Easy LE Adapter. The Easy LE Adapter is intended for use with Android™ phones, tablets as well as PCs with a USB-C port. Most phones with a 3.5 mm jack will not work as intended with the adapter, as manufacturers often choose to route the audio through the 3.5 mm jack rather than the USB-C. The adapter is not intended for use with Android devices that natively support LE Audio. It is also not intended for use with iPhone®, iPad®, Mac® or Vision Pro™.

Plug the Easy LE Adapter into the USB-C port of your device

Plug the Easy LE Adapter into the USB-C port of your device. The Easy LE Adapter will automatically power on and enter pairing mode (if no existing pairing is found). When the Easy LE Adapter is in pairing mode, the LED indicator will flash blue. In this mode, the Adapter will search for compatible LE Audio devices within 3 feet. To manually put the Easy LE Adapter into pairing mode, press the reset button with a pin tool until blue light blinks.

Note: If your device does not have a USB-C port, it may be possible to use a third-party USB-C to USB-A dongle. Not all adapters are guaranteed to work.

Place your hearing aids into pairing mode to connect

Place your hearing aids into pairing mode by placing them briefly in their charger and then removing them. This will automatically put them into pairing mode, and they will search for the Easy LE Adapter. You can also put your hearing aids into pairing mode by turning them off and back on via the push button. Pairing is complete when the LED indicator on the Easy LE Adapter switches from flashing blue to steady blue light for five seconds and powers off.

    Enjoy audio from your device

Once the pairing is complete, you are ready to stream audio with the Easy LE Adapter. The Easy LE Adapter will remain paired to your hearing aids even if it is removed from your PC, tablet or smartphone and plugged into a new device. To switch streaming to another compatible device, unplug the Easy LE Adapter from your current device and plug it into the USB-C port of the new device you want to stream from. During streaming or calls the push-buttons of your hearing aids will control the streaming volume. Accepting, ending and rejecting calls via the push-buttons will not work while using the adapter.

Note: Your hearing aids can only connect to one Easy LE Adapter at a time.

Resetting the Easy LE Adapter

Make sure the adapter is plugged into a phone, tablet or PC. Reset the adapter by pressing a tool into the pin hole until the LED indicator on the adapter starts flashing blue. Pairings have now been cleared, and the adapter is now ready to pair with a new device.

Charging your device when using the Easy LE Adapter

  • You can charge your phone or tablet with up to 9V/2A or 5V/3A standard charging. Not enough power can be delivered through the adapter to support charging of PC’s.

  • Simply connect your power charging cable into the Easy LE Adapter to charge your device.

  • Charging time will vary depending on your device’s battery capacity.

  • Any fast-charging technologies or data transfer is not supported when using the charging port. To access data transfer, remove the Easy LE Adapter from your device, then plug in your cable.
