Oticon, Inc. Names Michael Irby, AuD as National Sales Director

Oticon, Inc. announces the appointment of Michael Irby, AuD as National Sales Director. Irby will be responsible for developing sales strategies, driving improvements and implementing best practices to deliver quality support and services to Oticon’s professional partners. Irby, who began his career as a clinical audiologist, brings more than 18 years of experience in practice management and business development to the national position. Most recently, he served as the Central Regional Manager, responsible for directing and managing sales and training in Oticon’s Central region.

Irby is a frequent presenter at local and national professional meetings and conferences. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University, a Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Arizona and a Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University.

David Cantera Named Regional Manager – Mountain Region

David Cantera has been appointed Regional Manager – Mountain Region. In his new role, Cantera will be responsible for sales, education and support to hearing healthcare professionals throughout Oticon’s Mountain Region. Previously, he was an Account Manager in the Western region, serving Oticon’s professional partners in Colorado, New Mexico, Montana and Wyoming.

Cantera, who joined Oticon in 2007, has spent more than 15 years of his career in the hearing healthcare industry. His brings considerable expertise in customer service, differentiation, business processes and creative problem solving to his new position. David received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University, Marriott School of Management.
