Oticon, Inc. Names Michael Lamberson as President, U.S. Wholesale
SOMERSET, NJ March 5 – Oticon, Inc., a leading hearing aid manufacturer, announced the appointment of Michael Lamberson as President, U.S. Wholesale, effective March 2, 2026. Lamberson succeeds Ty Lee, who guided the organization through a leadership transition as interim President while continuing to serve as Group President, Demant North America.
As President, U.S. Wholesale, Lamberson will focus on strengthening the company’s innovation, leadership and commercial excellence in the U.S. He will lead Oticon’s Independent Channel, Government Services & Pediatrics, Marketing, Audiology, and Customer Experience teams.
“Mike is a proven and purpose-driven leader with an impressive track record of driving growth and innovation across the MedTech and consumer health sectors,” said Ty Lee, President of Demant North America. “His deep industry expertise, strategic mindset, and unwavering focus on the customer experience uniquely position him to understand the evolving needs, challenges, and aspirations of those we serve. We are confident that Mike is the right leader to guide Oticon U.S. into its next chapter — strengthening partnerships, advancing our shared mission, and delivering meaningful impact for our customers and the patients who rely on them every day.”
Lamberson brings more than 30 years of commercial and general management leadership to his new role. At Johnson & Johnson, he led commercial operations for $1B+ businesses, including experience at Acclarent working alongside ENT surgeons and specialists — giving him a strong foundation in building trust-based relationships within clinical professional channels where practitioner expertise and patient outcomes are paramount. He later served as Chief Commercial Officer and senior commercial leader for multiple health technology companies, partnering closely with clinicians across professional, government, and managed care channels. He has a proven record of accelerating premium technology adoption in ways that create meaningful value for patients and the practitioners who serve them.
Most recently, as Founder & CEO of LAUNCHSMITH, Lamberson partnered with health technology innovators as an advisor and interim CCO/CMO, helping companies bring clinically meaningful technologies to market and build the professional relationships needed to achieve sustainable, long-term growth.
Lamberson holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business. His engineering foundation gives him a deep appreciation for the sophisticated acoustic and signal processing technology that sets Oticon's solutions apart — complementing the business acumen he brings to leading the U.S. organization.
