Oticon Government Services: Homes For Our Troops
On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Oticon Government Services joined Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) in celebrating Army MAJ Dolly Harris as she received the keys to her specially adapted custom HFOT home in Howell Township, New Jersey. Since 2017, Oticon Government Services has proudly sponsored HFOT to support its mission of building and donating specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans — helping them regain independence and rebuild their lives.
At the celebration, Oticon’s Government Services team, Sarah Draplin, Senior Manager of Government Services Education and Training, and Kristin Billich, Marketing Manager, proudly attended the ceremony to celebrate Dolly. As part of the event, they presented Dolly with a HomeGoods gift card to help furnish her new house and truly make it a home.
“We are honored to support Homes For Our Troops in building and donating specially adapted custom homes for Veterans like Army MAJ Dolly Harris,” said Oticon’s Sarah Draplin. “Through the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, and other federal agencies, Oticon is proud to provide life-changing hearing technology that enhances hearing and quality of life for Veterans and active-duty military personnel. Events like today’s celebration allow our team to express heartfelt gratitude and support for the brave men and women who have served.”
Oticon contributed $5,000 to Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) to sponsor a future home, reinforcing our commitment to supporting organizations that make a real difference in the lives of our nation’s severely injured Veterans.
Oticon proudly serves as an official supplier of quality hearing solutions to the Veterans Health Administration. Throughout the year, Oticon Government Services provides extensive continuing education, emphasizing research, product development, and hands-on training to help VA audiologists and technicians enhance patient outcomes.

About Homes For Our Troops (HFOT): Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a publicly funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives.
Most of these Veterans have sustained injuries including multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, blindness, severe burns, and/or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives.
Since its inception in 2004, nearly 90 cents out of every dollar spent has gone directly to our program services for Veterans. HFOT builds these homes where the Veteran chooses to live, and continues its relationship with the Veterans after home delivery to assist them with rebuilding their lives.
