How to use the wax filter replacement reminder in your Oticon Companion App
Before you start

Get the Oticon Companion app
Ensure you have the latest version of the Oticon Companion app.

Pair your hearing aids with your phone or device
Once you have downloaded the Oticon Companion app, you need to pair your hearing aids with your device.

Check if a firmware update is available
- Open the app and tap Hearing aids
- Tap Hearing aid updates
- Tap Continue
Replace wax filters using the reminder in your app
To keep your hearing aids performing at their best, your app reminds you when it is time to replace the wax filters. When enabled, you will receive a notification and can follow the steps in the app to reset the reminder after replacing the filters.

When you receive a reminder.
When it is time to replace your wax filters, you will get a notification from your app.
- Open the app
- Go to the Hearing aids tab
- Tap Filter reminder

After replacing your wax filters.
Once you have replaced your wax filters, reset the reminder so the app can track the next replacement.
- Tap Reset day count
- Tap Reset now
This restarts the reminder based on your selected interval.

Adjust your reminder settings.
You can choose how often you want to be reminded.
- Go to Filter reminder
- Tap Notification settings
- Select your preferred reminder frequency
