Perform in situ audiometry
Using Oticon RemoteCare, you can use in situ audiometry measurements via the hearing aid in a patient’s ear to measure hearing thresholds using the individual’s own ear acoustics. These remote measurements are accurate, precise and equal to ones made in a clinic.
Remote in situ audiometry is performed in the same way as in the clinic with Oticon Genie 2, with the Background Noise Level feature ensuring conditions are comparable to in-clinic conditions. The main difference is that the Oticon Companion app is used as the patient’s interface.
