OtoTherm
For good comfort, sealing, retention, and a deep fit
OtoTherm is a body temperature-reactive material that remains hard at room temperature and softens at body temperature. OtoTherm molds don’t require the integrated adapter that is used for hard acrylic molds, which enables the production of a smaller mold that fits well and achieves a deep insertion.
OtoTherm is ideal for:
- Patients with small ear canals
- Patients with cosmetic concerns
- Patients with retention issues
- Patients who report discomfort with their current acrylic molds
Molds for advanced, discreet fittings
MicroShell Detect
For use with miniFit Detect self-calibrating receiver, MicroShell Detect can be fitted deep in the ear for cosmetic considerations. It can support a wide variety of hearing needs and ear shapes. Available in miniFIT Detect receiver 60 and 85 for Sirius™ platform hearing aids and later.
MicroShell
Can be fitted deep in the ear for cosmetic considerations, MicroShell is suitable for open fit and mild to moderate hearing losses. Available in miniFit receiver 60 and 85 for Polaris R™ and earlier.
LiteTip
A hollowed-out mold with flexible suspension to ensure added retention. LiteTip is suitable for smaller ear canals where more ventilation is needed, and suitable for open fit and mild to moderate hearing losses. Available in miniFit and miniFit Detect receiver 60 and 85.
Micromold
A solid mold with a hollowed out bore, MicroMold is suitable for smaller ears where it is not possible to create a hollowed-out mold due to size constraints and receiver placement. MicroMold is suitable for mild to severe hearing losses. Available in miniFit and miniFit Detect receiver 60 and 85.
Molds for severe to profound hearing loss
Power Receiver molds
These powerful molds for maximum gain have the receiver fixed inside the mold and feature a detachable wire. Suitable for severe to profound hearing losses, Power Receiver molds are available in miniFit receiver 100 and 105.
BTE molds
A solid mold with a hollowed-out bore to fit BTE-style hearing aids with a hook and a tube or with Corda miniFit thin tube. Available in a variety of retention styles and suitable for hearing loss from mild to profound.
MicroShell Detect
This mold has a fixed miniFit Detect receiver and a non-detachable wire. It can fit deep in the ear for cosmetic considerations, and it supports a wide variety of hearing needs and ear shapes. Available with receiver 60 and 85 for small-to-moderate hearing losses and with receiver 100 and 105 for severe-to-profound hearing losses.
Safe for sensitive skin
All Oticon molds and product materials that touch your patients’ skin are biocompatible, being Bisphenol A (BPA) free, and tested to be biologically safe for permanent skin contact according to the ISO-10993 Standard.
