SERTOMA stands for SERvice TO MANkind; their mission is to provide the quality of life today for those at risk or impacted by hearing loss through education and support. Oticon provides financial support to Sertoma’s Hard of Hearing or Deaf Scholarship, which is one of the leading funder of scholarships for hard of hearing or deaf students since Sertoma initiated the program in 1994. Students with clinically significant bilateral hearing loss, graduating from high school, or undergraduate students pursuing four-year college degrees in any discipline are eligible for the scholarship.

This is the website for NCHAM, the National Center for Hearing Assessment and Management, the National Resource Center for the implementation and improvement of comprehensive and effective Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) systems. As a multidisciplinary Center, their goal is to ensure that all infants and toddlers with hearing loss are identified as early as possible and provided with timely and appropriate audiological, educational, and medical intervention.
