EPOQ

The Ultimate Accessory

Epoq’s innovative Bluetooth Streamer transforms Epoq into headphones or a headset.

Remote control
The Streamer is a fully functional remotecontrol device allowing for convenient control of volume and program shifts.

On the go
Adding to the core benefits of Epoq is the ability to communicate effortlessly while on the go.
The Streamer can connect to a mobile phone using a standard Bluetooth protocol – in effect turning a pair of Epoqs into a headset.
Through a direct input to the Streamer any MP3 player can be used – turning a pair of Epoqs into headphones.

At home
At home the Streamer will interface to a variety of entertainment devices either through Bluetooth or directly through the direct input. The Streamer will improve the quality of watching TV, talking on land line phones, listening to the radio, and can even connect to the PC.

5 Key Parameters:

Quality sound streaming
The Streamer uses the digital EarStream technology to transmit real time audio directly to the Epoq instruments. The benefit is a 10 kHz undistorted, crystal clear audio signal.

A fully integrated system
All Epoq hearing instruments have factory embedded streaming programs dedicated to the various audio sources transmitted by the Streamer.
The Streamer and the hearing instruments are an integrated system where the hearing instruments automatically detect the streamed audio and immediately choose the correct program.

Personal wireless headphones
With a set of Epoq instruments linked to the Streamer, audio is transmitted directly and securely to both
instruments.

The binaurally fitted instruments resembles miniature wireless headphones, custom tailored to the client’s hearing loss. The Streamer also works with one instrument in case of a monaural fitting.

Ease of use
Audio streaming is controlled directly from the Streamer. The Streamer serves two main purposes; Phone usage (as a mobile phone headset) and Audio entertainment (e.g. listening to music).
Both applications are easily activated and terminated by pressing one button.

When not used for audio streaming, the Epoq Streamer also functions as a remote control for volume control and program shift.

Bluetooth technology
The Streamer has built-in Bluetooth technology for wireless connectivity to other Bluetooth devices and supports all relevant Bluetooth profiles. Bluetooth is a commonly used global standard for e.g. mobile phones and offers a transmission range of up to 10 meters.
