How FM solutions work
Even with the best hearing instruments, most hearing-impaired people notice that they have difficulty hearing in certain situations, such as classrooms, business meetings and restaurants. Using an FM solution makes communication in these situations much easier.

FM solutions consist of a microphone (sometimes also called a transmitter) and a receiver. The person speaking wears the microphone, and the voice is transmitted directly to a receiver on the listener’s hearing aid. This helps to cut out all the negative effects of distance, echo and background noise, and keep the speech signal loud and clear.

Tele-Loop solutions
Most Oticon instruments have a tele-loop option. This is particularly useful in public places such as churches, theatres and airports, where tele-loop solutions transmit the sound signal directly to the hearing aid. Tele-loop solutions can also be installed at home.
