Otto’s World of Sounds
Otto’s World of Sounds is a multimedia auditory training tool from Oticon. It is designed for home use and acts as a supplement to the training programme provided by the hearing care professional or speech therapist.
Hearing loss hinders the natural process of acquiring speech and language. For the child with a hearing impairment it is important to focus on the auditory channel in order to help them reach their full potential in developing speech and language.
Multimedia-based training programme
Auditory training programmes provided by audiologists or speech language therapists should be supplemented by a variety of activities in the child’s everyday listening environment. As well as teaching them the relevance of sounds in their natural environment, multimedia offers a unique way to stimulate their auditory development.
Otto’s World of Sounds enables you to get involved in your child’s auditory development at home. It is designed as a game and helps children develop their ability to detect, dicriminate and identity sounds – all in a fun and motivating way.
