Marketing

Everything we do at Oticon – from the insights we gather to the solutions we put on the market – is controlled by our goal to empower the person with hearing impairment so that he or she can live an active and outgoing life in which communication and interaction come naturally. That's something that is taken for granted by most people, but not necessarily for our users.

Marketing has three primary focus areas: We gather knowledge to ensure that our products reflect the actual needs of the market, we support hearing care professionals who guide the users of our products, and we bring Oticon solutions to the international market.

We make a difference in the development of Oticon solutions

Marketing is responsible for determining the needs of the users and the hearing care professionals in order to ensure that our products and support reflect the actual needs of the market and set new industry standards. Marketing plays a vital role in ensuring that Oticon's research and development investments are directed to producing successful products that can change the lives of users all over the world.

We support the hearing care professionals

A highly prioritised area at Oticon is our support of hearing care professionals who guide, assist and customize hearing instruments for the end users. Marketing has an important role in the development of strategies, concepts, tools and materials used in assisting and training the hearing care professionals.

We are responsible for introducing Oticon products to the market

We are also involved in the development of new Oticon products and support offerings, as well as in close cooperation with the sales department in developing long-term sales and marketing strategies that will pave the way for effective market launches. Developing communications concepts and planning and preparing market introductions takes place in close partnership with our local sales companies the world over.
